How much does a website cost in Ireland?
In 2026 a professionally built business website in Ireland costs somewhere between €1,500 and €20,000, and most small business sites land between €2,500 and €12,000. This guide sets out what those ranges mean, what moves the price, what we charge, and how to get a written number before you commit to anything.

The honest answer is that it depends, but “it depends” is no use when you are trying to set a budget. So here is the shape of the Irish market as studios and agencies publish it in 2026. A template or brochure site runs €1,500 to €3,500. A small business site runs €2,500 to €6,000. A custom design and build runs €5,000 to €12,000. Ecommerce starts around €6,000 and goes past €20,000 once stock, payments and integrations come into it.

02 What Irish studios publish
The ranges below are what Irish studios and agencies publish on their own sites in 2026. They are a guide to the market, not a quote. Any studio worth hiring will give you a fixed number for your brief.

03 What drives the cost
Two sites with the same page count can be thousands of euro apart. These are the eight things that move the number.
Number of pages
Every page needs a design, the words to fill it and a build. Fifteen pages is not three times the work of five, but it is close.
Custom or template
A template is cheaper because the decisions were made by somebody else. Custom design costs more because every decision is made for you.
Copywriting and photography
Most quotes assume you supply the words and the pictures. If you cannot, budget for both, or the site will sit waiting on them.
Ecommerce
Products, variants, stock, payments, shipping and VAT. Each one is a system, and each one has to be tested.
Integrations
Booking, CRM, payments, timetables. Anything that has to talk to another piece of software adds design and testing time.
SEO research
Knowing which pages to build before you build them. Cheaper than building the wrong ones and starting again.
Accessibility
Contrast, keyboard use, screen readers, form labels. Cheap to do at the start and expensive to retrofit.
Ongoing care
Hosting, patching, backups and small changes. Not part of the build price, but very much part of the real cost.
04 What we charge
We publish our prices because we would want to see them if we were the ones buying. There are two build tiers and one plan for afterwards.

One number, in writing, before a line of it gets built.
Bigger than fifteen pages, or a shop, is a scoped quote rather than a tier. It works the same way: you send the brief and you get a fixed price in writing within two working days. Most sites launch in 4 to 8 weeks. Where SEO is part of the job, movement in the rankings typically shows within 60 to 90 days.
What is not included matters as much. Launch does not include SEO research or rank tracking. Neither tier includes copywriting or photography unless we scope them in. Hosting after the first year is either the Care plan or a clean handover to a host of your choosing.
05 Running costs after launch
The build price is the number everyone asks about. The running cost is the one that catches people out two years later.
A domain is €15 to €30 a year. Self-managed hosting is €10 to €50 a month, which sounds cheap until something needs patching at eleven on a Friday night. A care plan from an Irish studio is €75 to €300 a month, and the spread reflects what is actually in it. Some are hosting with a nicer name. Others include monitoring, security and a set number of hours for changes.
Ours is €190 a month after the first year. It covers hosting and monitoring, security patches and scans, and two hours of changes a month, and you can cancel any time. If you would rather run the site yourself, we hand it over cleanly instead.
Over three years, a €5,400 Launch build with two years of Care comes to €9,960. That is the figure to compare between studios, not the build price on its own.
06 Help with the cost
If you run a small business, the Local Enterprise Office Trading Online Voucher is worth knowing about. It offers up to €2,500 in matched funding, at 50 percent, towards building or upgrading your online presence. Eligibility rules apply, so check with your local office before you commit to a build.

07 What the numbers look like in practice
Ranges are abstract. Here is what the work looks like at different points on the scale.
Avoca Wicklow Day Tour was a full redesign and build for a premium chauffeured tour. The original site was a cluttered template that undercut a €750 product. The redesign put the price up front, wove multilingual TripAdvisor reviews into the page and added a bespoke tours section. That is what custom design buys you over a template.
Platinum Pilates was a Squarespace build for five studios and three physiotherapy clinics, with Mindbody booking, an online shop and gift cards embedded in the site. Integrations like that are where a project moves from a tier into a scoped quote.
Engage Financial is a Central Bank of Ireland regulated brokerage, and its site had to hold GDPR and Central Bank compliance at every point where data is collected. Healy Pentony, a law firm on Merrion Square, needed a wide practice split into clear paths for private and business clients. Regulated and professional firms pay for structure, not decoration.
Northbrook Clinic was not a build at all. It was a WordPress server migration with DNS changes and no downtime for a referral-based clinic. Work like that is scoped and priced on its own.
