Websites for plumbers, electricians and builders in Ireland.

You are on site all day and you take enquiries from the van. A website for tradesmen has one job: make the phone ring with work you want, from the areas you cover. We build trades websites in Dublin and across Ireland that do that, at a fixed price.

01 How customers find you

Nobody browses for a plumber. The boiler stops, or the fuse board trips, and someone picks up their phone and types plumber near me, or electrician Lucan. Google shows a map with three businesses on it, each with a star rating. They tap one, look at the reviews, maybe glance at the website, then ring.

The website is one stop on that trip, and its job is not to impress anyone. Its job is to make the call happen: confirm you do this kind of work, in this area, and that you are a real business with a real number.

A trades website has one job. Make the call happen.

02 What a trades site needs

An electrician website and a builder website in Ireland need the same basics. First, your phone number at the top of every page, tappable on a mobile so one press dials you.

The areas you cover, listed by town. Not “Dublin and surrounds”, but Swords, Malahide, Portmarnock, Donabate.

One page per service. Boiler repair, rewiring, extensions. Each one gets its own page, because each one is a separate search, and a single list of services rarely ranks for any of them.

Photos of real jobs. Your work, taken on your phone, with the town and what was done. Stock photos of a smiling man in a hard hat convince nobody.

Registration and insurance stated plainly, as facts you supply. We write them exactly as you give them to us, and you confirm every line.

A quote request form that asks the right questions: what the job is, where, how soon, and a photo. You can price it before you call back.

03 Local search

The map results come mostly from your Google Business Profile. Get the category right, add your services and areas, post photos, keep the hours accurate. It costs nothing.

The website backs it up with a page per area you serve. Not the same page copied twenty times with the town name swapped, which Google spots and ignores. Each area page needs something real: the jobs you have done there, the housing stock, how quickly you can get out.

Your name, address and phone number have to match everywhere: the site, the profile, directories, your van. Small differences confuse Google. Then reviews, which you have to ask for. Our local SEO service covers all of it.

04 Keeping it running

You do not have time to look after a website, and you should not have to. Hosting, software updates, security and daily backups are handled by us. If something breaks, we fix it.

Small changes are covered too. A new service, a new area, new phone hours, a few photos from last week’s job: text or email them to us and they go up. That is Care, at €190 a month after the first year.

05 What it costs

Launch is €5,400 fixed, for up to six pages, with hosting for the first year, SSL and daily backups. That suits a sole trader with a handful of services. Grow is €10,800 for up to fifteen pages, including SEO research and page build with 90 days of rank tracking, for a crew covering more services or more towns. You get a fixed written quote within two working days.

The Trading Online Voucher from your Local Enterprise Office can cover up to half the cost, capped at €2,500, if your business qualifies. The LEO sets the eligibility, not us. Read our guide to the Trading Online Voucher, see the pricing page, or read how we build small business websites.

The approach is the same one behind the clinics and professional firms in our work: a page per service, local search done properly, and a site that is quick on a phone.

06 What you send us

Very little. Your services, the towns you cover, your registration and insurance details, and the job photos on your phone. We write the pages, you tell us what is wrong.

07/ FAQ

Common questions.

Do I need a website if I get my work by word of mouth?

Word of mouth still ends in a search. Someone gets your name from a neighbour, then looks you up before they ring. A site with your number, your areas and photos of your work confirms you are the real thing. No site, or an old one, and some of those calls never happen.

How do I get more reviews on Google?

Ask, at the right moment. When a job is finished and the customer is happy, send a short text with a direct link to your review page. We set up that link for you. Reply to every review, good or bad, briefly and politely.

Can I add photos of new jobs myself?

Yes, if you want to. Or send them to us from your phone and we add them, which is covered by Care. Either way, a few good photos of a finished job with the town and the type of work beat a gallery of fifty.

How long until I show up for searches in my area?

Typically 60 to 90 days before you see movement, once the site, your Google Business Profile and your details elsewhere all match. Nobody can guarantee a position on Google, and anyone who does is guessing.
