01 The problem
The clinic's website is the primary information and contact point for patients seeking referral-based specialist care across eight clinical disciplines, from oral surgery and dental implantology to psychiatric and reconstructive surgery.
The work was a full migration of their WordPress site off an ageing hosting environment onto a new server, with the corresponding DNS updates, and no disruption to patient-facing availability at any point.
Uninterrupted availability is a clinical requirement, not a convenience.

Poorly timed record updates can cause resolution failures during propagation, creating a window where the site appears offline globally.
Email continuity
DNS changes scoped to leave MX records untouched, so patient and referral communications were unaffected throughout.
SSL transfer
A valid certificate issued and configured on the new server before cutover, so the site never resolved insecurely.
Verification
Post-migration checks across all content, confirming nothing was lost or corrupted in transfer.
03 Outcome
The site moved to its new environment with no loss of availability and clean domain resolution after cutover, with no propagation window where it appeared offline.
Patients kept access to specialist profiles, services and contact details throughout, which, for a referral-based clinic, is the entire point of the exercise.
