Website design for accountants in Ireland.

People choose an accountant carefully, and they read the website first. We build sites for accountancy practices that explain each discipline properly, are straight about fees, and turn an enquiry into a qualified first call.

01 A page per discipline

Most accountancy sites have one page called Services with a list on it: audit, tax, payroll, company secretarial, advisory. It ranks for nothing, because nobody searches for services. They search for payroll bureau Dublin, company secretarial services Ireland, or help with a tax return.

Each discipline gets its own page instead: what the work covers, who it suits, what you need from a client to start. A director facing a first statutory audit and a shop owner who needs twelve payslips a month are not the same reader.

One page per discipline. A combined services page ranks for nothing.

02 Fees, engagement and trust

The commonest question on an accountancy website is the one the site refuses to answer: what will this cost. You do not need a price list. A starting figure, a range, or simply how you charge beats another paragraph about being a trusted adviser.

Engagement terms deserve the same. What the first meeting involves, whether it is free, what to bring, how long onboarding takes. People who cannot afford you leave quietly. The rest ring.

Trust signals have to be factual: your professional body membership and practice registration exactly as they stand, the people doing the work and their qualifications, the office address. We write the draft, you confirm every line. We do not give tax or legal advice ourselves.

03 Portal, forms and onboarding

Most practices already run a client portal. The site’s job is to get people into it: a sign-in link in the navigation, on your own domain where the portal allows it, and a short page on how documents are handed over securely.

Enquiry forms should qualify before the first call. Not twenty fields, which nobody completes. Five or six that tell you what you need: sole trader or limited company, what they want, whether they already have an accountant, roughly when. It goes encrypted to the inbox or CRM you use.

Onboarding starts there too, with a checklist of what to send.

04 Deadline season and local search

Accountancy runs on a calendar and search traffic follows it. The weeks before a return deadline are the busiest search period of the year, and the firms that show up then published something useful months earlier. A clear explainer on what a client needs to gather, written as general information, earns traffic every year it stays up.

The other half is local. Accountant near me, accountant Dublin 2, payroll bureau Cork. Those results come from a Google Business Profile that matches the site, a page per office, the same details everywhere online, and structured data naming you an accountancy practice at that address. Our local SEO service covers it.

Most of this traffic is on a phone, so we hand-code most sites and pages load in around a second. Hosting on our own stack at 99.9 percent uptime is included for the first year.

05 In practice

Engage Financial Solutions is a Central Bank of Ireland regulated brokerage in Blackrock, Co. Dublin, covering mortgages, protection, retirement planning, wealth management and investments. We led the web development: the CMS restructured from the ground up, a multi-step conversion funnel per service vertical, and GDPR and Central Bank compliance held wherever data is collected.

That is the part worth borrowing. Compliance was structural, not bolted on afterwards, and trust signals and user flow were shaped by what a regulated firm has to demonstrate. Each service area has its own landing page. Read the case study →

06 What it costs

Launch is €5,400 for up to six pages, which suits a sole practitioner. Grow is €10,800 for up to fifteen pages with SEO, the right fit when each discipline needs a page that ranks. Both include hosting for the first year, and you get a fixed written quote in two working days. Care is €190 a month for updates, backups and small changes. See the pricing page and our guide to website costs in Ireland.

We also build for financial advisers, solicitors and clinics. Our web design service covers everything else, and you can see our work.

07/ FAQ

Common questions.

How many pages does an accountancy website need?

One per discipline, at least. Audit, tax, payroll, company secretarial and advisory each need their own page, because a combined services page rarely ranks for any of them.

Can you link our client portal to the website?

Yes. A sign-in link in the navigation, on your own domain where the portal allows it, with a short page on how documents are handed over securely.

Should we publish our fees?

You do not need a price list. A starting figure, a range, or how you charge answers the question people came with, and filters enquiries before they reach your desk.

How long before we rank for accountant near me?

Local results depend on a Google Business Profile matching the site, a page per office and consistent details across the web. Most sites see movement in 60 to 90 days.
